Beans is How
Dear ponderers of the big questions,
Have you ever wondered: “but how?” Or “Why?” Or, even, “What’s this then?” Would you be surprised if we told you that the answer to all of those questions is: “Beans”?
Of course not! The global movement to eat more beans is gaining momentum. Beans is How is a campaign launched by the SDG2 Advocacy Hub to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 2: to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture by 2023. A coalition of 120+ partners (including yours truly!) work to transform food systems, champion sustainability, and nourish communities with the power of beans. You can read more about this important work in the hot-off-the-presses Annual Report. For the busy executives who don’t read reports themselves anymore, here are some of the highlights:
-
50 restaurants in New York City and Jersey City committed to putting more #Beansonthemenu
